End-user licence agreement
For Ops, the GitsTel Operations Repository. Effective 17 October 2026.
Who this is between
Ops is GitsTel Inc.'s own internal operations tool. It is not sold or offered to anybody outside GitsTel. This agreement is between GitsTel Inc. ("GitsTel") and each person GitsTel lets use Ops ("you"). GitsTel's staff use Ops under this agreement.
Who may use Ops
Only GitsTel's staff, each signed in with the account GitsTel set up for them, and only in their work for GitsTel. An account is for the person it was made for: do not share it, or let anybody else use Ops through it.
What GitsTel licenses you to do
While GitsTel lets you sign in, it gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Ops for GitsTel's work, as far as your role in Ops allows. GitsTel may change what your account reaches, or end this licence, at any time.
What you may not do
- Use Ops for anything but GitsTel's work, or on behalf of anybody else.
- Copy, change, take apart or try to read Ops's code, or copy what Ops holds, except as your work for GitsTel needs and Ops itself allows.
- Get round, or try to get round, Ops's sign-in, its passkey checks, its record of who did what, or any other control.
- Connect Ops to any QuickBooks company but GitsTel's own, or to any service GitsTel has not connected it to.
Who owns Ops
Ops, and what GitsTel keeps in it, belong to GitsTel or to those GitsTel licenses parts of Ops from. This agreement lets you use Ops; it gives you no ownership of any of it.
QuickBooks
Ops reaches GitsTel's QuickBooks Online company only through the connection a GitsTel owner makes with Intuit, and only while somebody is doing something in Ops or a GitsTel owner is running Ops's diagnostic command or its refresh command on its server. QuickBooks is Intuit's, and Intuit's own terms govern it. What Ops reads from QuickBooks, what it writes there and what it keeps is in the privacy policy.
No warranty
Ops is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, GitsTel gives no warranty about it, express or implied - including that it will be free of faults, always available, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, GitsTel is not liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Ops or from not being able to use it. Nothing here limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited.
When it ends
This licence ends when GitsTel ends your access to Ops, when you stop working for GitsTel, or if you break it.
Ops's use of QuickBooks ends when QuickBooks is disconnected. An owner disconnects it on Ops's QuickBooks page, under Administration: Ops asks Intuit to revoke its authorisation, takes the authorisation out of its vault whether or not Intuit confirms, and reads and writes nothing in QuickBooks until an owner connects it again. Removing Ops from the company's connected apps in QuickBooks ends it from Intuit's side.
Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
GitsTel may change this agreement. The date at the top says when it last changed; using Ops after a change is using it under the agreement as changed.
